The Red Raiders host Tulsa and Texas A&M- Corpus Christi March 12-13 for the Texas Tech Invitational.
LUBBOCK, Texas – The Red Raiders continue a three-week home stretch this weekend, hosting Tulsa and Texas A&M- Corpus Christi in the Texas Tech Invitational Saturday, March 12 and Sunday, March 13 at Rocky Johnson Field.

Tech went 3-2 at the Jeannine McHaney Memorial Classic last weekend against North Texas and Southern. This weekend, the Red Raiders welcome the Tulsa Golden Hurricane and Texas A&M- Corpus Christi Islanders to town for the six-game tournament.
Last weekend, Ellie Bailey was outstanding at the plate, going 6-for-13 (.462) with four extra base hits, seven RBI, three runs, three walks, no strikeouts and an on base percentage of .563. Erna Carlin was strong in the circle in her outing against North Texas. The freshman pitched a complete game two-hitter with a career-high nine strikeouts, shutting out the Mean Green for a 3-0 win.
This weekend marks the first time since 2017 Tech has faced both Tulsa and Texas A&M- Corpus Christi.
The Red Raiders have not fared well against the Golden Hurricane with just one win in 10 meetings. That win came in 2015 when Tech downed Tulsa 10-2 in five innings at Rocky Johnson Field. The Golden Hurricane took the last meeting 7-0 in 2017 in Tulsa.
Tech has split the series with Texas A&M- Corpus Christi an even 7-7 against the Islanders. The two teams last met in San Marcos in 2017, Tech won the first game 7-0 before falling 2-0 a few days later.
Live stats will be available for all games of the tournament while Big 12 Now on ESPN+ will carry only the games featuring Texas Tech.
