Moise becomes the second Canadian on the roster joining Penelope Mulenga
LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech soccer team added left-footed forward Laurie-Ann Moise to the 2022 roster, head coach Tom Stone announced Wednesday evening.
"We feel very fortunate to have added Laurie-Ann to our offense this late in the recruiting cycle of '22," Stone said. "Laurie-Anne has a wonderful combination of technical ability and physicality. Her 1v1 and creation game will suit us quite well and, as everyone knows, you can't have too many lefties. Off the field, she's committed to our academic standard, so she is ready for all aspects of college soccer at Texas Tech. We can't wait to start working with her in July."
Moise hails from Montreal, Canada, competing for Vanier College and prior to that, her club soccer team FC Laval. During her time there, she was the Provincial and National Championship MVP en route to being named to the All-Canadian All-Star team. In addition, she was also named a two-time Canadian and Quebec Player of the Week.
During that National Championship run, Moise finished the tournament tallying one goal to goal along with three assists in three matches for Vanier, leading her club to its first-ever CCAA title. During the 2019-20 season, Moise was dubbed the Rookie of the Year for the Champlain Saint-Lambert Cavaliers.
