Tech men’s tennis earns No. 4 seed

The Red Raiders will open the Big 12 Championships Friday afternoon vs. Oklahoma
IRVING, Texas – The Texas Tech men's tennis program has earned the No. 4 seed for this week's Big 12 Championships hosted by TCU at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.
Texas Tech (14-10, 2-3 Big 12) will open play on Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. against No. 5 Oklahoma. The Red Raiders defeated OU back on Apr. 8.
If victorious, Tech would advance to Saturday's semifinals where they would meet the winner of No. 1 TCU on Saturday at 3 p.m.
The other opening round matchup is No. 3 Texas vs. No. Oklahoma State. The winner of that match will face No. 2 Baylor on Saturday at 3 p.m.

No. 4 Texas Tech vs. No. 5 Oklahoma - 3 p.m.
No. 3 Texas vs. No. 6 Oklahoma State - 3 p.m.
Saturday, April 23:
No. 1 TCU vs. No. 4 Tech/No. 5 OU - 3 p.m.
No. 2 Baylor vs. No. 3 Texas/No. 6 OSU - 3 p.m.
Sunday, April 24:
Semifinal winner one vs. Semifinal winner two - 4 p.m.
