LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech track and field team hosts the 2022 Big 12 Outdoor Championships this Friday through Sunday at the Terry and Linda Fuller Track Complex.
In The Polls
The women's team heads into the first week of the postseason ranked No. 6, while the men's side comes in at No. 9. Both teams slid one spot in the rankings this week but have stayed inside the top 10 the entire outdoor season.

Last Time Out
The Red Raiders did not compete last weekend as they closed out the regular season two weeks ago hosting the Corky/Crofoot Shootout. Two days later at home, Rosemary Chukwuma became Tech's newest record holder in the 200 with a blistering run of 22.78.
Big 12 Championship History
The men's program will be on the hunt for their fifth conference title and first since 2019. Meanwhile, the women's side will be looking for their first title in program history – they've finished third each of the last two meets.
