Cross country earns All-Academic Team honors

The women’s team posted a cumulative GPA of 3.66 to lead both programs
NEW ORLEANS, La. – Both Texas Tech cross country programs earned All-Academic Team honors, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced Thursday.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.
In the women's collegiate field, there were 249 programs who garnered the distinction while 216 teams were honored for the men.
The Texas Tech women's team posted a cumulative GPA of 3.66 as the men's posted a 3.38 GPA.
