Friday’s race marks the final of the regular season before the conference championship
LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech cross country team concludes the regular season on the road running in the annual Arturo Barrios Invitational hosted by Texas A&M Friday morning at the Watts Cross Country Course.

Last Time Out
Juliet Cherubet, in only her second race of the season, crossed the end line with a 6k time of 20:16.40 to come away as the top individual placer at the Gans Creek Classic (Sept. 27). She would later be named the women's Big 12 Runner of the Week – the first for the TTU women's program since 2016.

Over on the men's side, Vincent Koech and Gideon Kiplimo led Tech to a 2-3 finish as the men placed second overall in the team standings. In the 8k race, Koech went 23:58.10 as Kiplimo crossed at 23:59.90 – each Red Raider were running in their second race of the season.
