WGOLF Opens Juli Inkster Monday

The field includes three top-15 teams
FAIRFAX, Calif. – No. 30 Texas Tech women's golf returns to action Monday for the Juli Inkster Invite hosted by San Francisco and San Jose State at the Meadow Club.
The action begins Monday morning at 10:15 a.m. (CT) with 36 holes before finishing up Tuesday with the final 18 holes.
This week's field includes No. 1 Stanford, No. 5 San Jose State, No. 11 USC as well as the Red Raiders.

Powered by a top-10 finish from true freshman Shannon Tan, No, 29 Texas Tech women's golf finished in solo eighth at the ICON Invitational hosted by the University of Houston at the Golf Club of Houston.
On the backs of three strong team rounds, the Red Raiders finished the three rounds at -13 overall.
After firing an even-par 72 during the first 18 holes, Tan caught fire over the final two rounds, shooting 68 and 69 respectively.
Chaira Horder was the other Red Raider to finish in the top-20. Horder finished 14th.
No. 10 Texas A&M finished at -34, 10 shots ahead of second place North Texas (-24). No. 11 USC (-22) finished third followed by Oklahoma State (-20) and Iowa State (-18).
Maryland and NC State finished tied for sixth (-17), followed by Tech (-13), SMU (-11) and Illinois (-9).
Tennessee finished at +1 overall to end in 11th, while Texas State (+5), Tulsa (+10), Charlotte (+11), Houston (+12) and UTSA (+39) rounded out the 16-team event.
UP NEXT:
After three events in just over three weeks, the Red Raiders will take some time off. Tech next returns to acton Apr. 1-2 for The Bruzzy Challenge hosted by North Texas.
