NFL's Finest: What's Being Said About Tyree Wilson

Tyree Wilson was the talk of the NFL Draft leading up to and in the near 24 hours since he was selected by the Las Vegas Raiders
LUBBOCK, Texas – It's been roughly 24 hours since Tyree Wilson walked the stage to lift up NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell after the Texas Tech All-American was selected seventh overall by the Las Vegas Raiders in the NFL Draft.

WILSON MEETS THE LAS VEGAS MEDIA
Wilson departed Kansas City early Friday morning for a flight to Las Vegas to tour the Raiders' team facility and officially be unveiled in front of the local media. Below is the full video of Wilson's introductory press conference, beginning at the 15:30 mark.

STAYING A "RAIDER"
One interesting aspect in Wilson's selection Thursday is that he will continue to be a "Raider." Of course, he was a Red Raider for the last three seasons of his collegiate career, building an impressive resume as one of the nation's top pass rushers. Ironically, he was also a "Raider" at West Rusk High School in East Texas where he developed into one of the state's top recruits, eventually signing with Texas A&M before later transferring to Texas Tech.
THE MVP ON LINE ONE
Now that Wilson is officially joining the Raiders, he will see another Red Raider on the opposite side of the ball at least twice a year in fellow Texas Tech alumni Patrick Mahomes II. Mahomes, who opened the NFL Draft festivities alongside Travis Kelce Thursday, was quick to congratulate his fellow Red Raider right after his selection even though it'll now be Wilson who will be trying to chase down the two-time Super Bowl champion.
