
Tech heads to Columbus for the NCAA Tournament

LUBBOCK, Texas – For the fifth-consecutive season, the No. 31-ranked Texas Tech Red Raiders are heading to the postseason as they travel to Columbus, Ohio for the first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament on May 5-7.
Tech is the 2-seed of the regional and is set to play 3-seeded Louisville in the first round. Host team and 1-seeded Ohio State will also face 4-seeded East Tennessee State.
This marks Tech's 19th appearance in the NCAA Tournament dating back to 1996. Last season, the Red Raiders were selected to go to the Wake Forest Regional where they dropped their first-round matchup to Auburn, 4-1.
