Suspended contest at ACU set to resume May 9

LUBBOCK, Texas – Prior to Texas Tech's scheduled game on May 9 versus Abilene Christian, the suspended game versus ACU from April 25 will resume at Rip Griffin Park starting at 4 p.m.
It will pick up where it was halted, due to lightning, with ACU batting as the home team at Rip Griffin Park. The game will begin with one out in the bottom of the fourth and the Wildcats owning a 6-0 lead with a runner on second base.
The planned 6:30 p.m. game will not start prior to its original time. The 6:30 p.m. game will start 30-45 minutes after the first game's conclusion, similar to a doubleheader, or at the initial time.
Single-game tickets for May 9 will be valid for both games.
