
Tech WGOLF announces 2023-24 schedule

The 10 regular season events include Tech hosting a pair of tournaments
LUBBOCK, Texas – Highlighted by hosting the Red Raider Invitational at the end of September, head coach JoJo Robertson announced the 2023-24 Texas Tech women's golf schedule on Friday.

The 10-event slate kicks off once again at historic Pebble Beach for the Carmel Cup hosted Mississippi State, Sept. 1-3.

After the trip to the west coast, the Red Raiders head to Dallas for the Sam Golden Invitational (Sept. 11-12) hosted by North Texas.

After taking a week off, Tech closes the month of September by hosting the Red Raider Invitational at The Rawls Course (Sept. 25-26).

The month of October brings the final two events of the fall slate as Tech will travel back to a pair of events they played in during the 2022-23 season when they head to the Women's Invitational at Medinah (Oct 9-10) and the Jim West Challenge (Oct. 22-23) hosted by Illinois and Texas State.

After a break for the holidays and the end of the fall semester, Tech returns to action the first week in February when they head to new Big 12 UCF for the UCF Challenge (Feb. 4-6) in the Orlando area.

The second week of the year's second month brings the Red Raiders down to the Bahamas, where they will host the NEXUS Collegiate (Feb. 12-14) at the beautiful Albany Golf Club in New Providence.

Following a week off, Tech will close a busy February with a trip to the ICON Invitational hosted by conference foe Houston (Feb. 26-27).

The lone event of the month of March takes Robertson and the Red Raiders to the State of Oklahoma where they will once again compete at The Bruzzy hosted by the University of North Texas at Dornick Hills Country Club (Mar. 30-31).

April brings a pair of crucial events for Tech, as the Red Raiders will head to Norman for the OU Matchplay hosted by Oklahoma (Apr. 8-9), before hooking it east to Houston for the Big 12 Championships (Apr. 18-20).

Six different sites have been awarded to host NCAA Women's Golf Regionals in 2024, including Auburn, Cle Elum (Wash.), College Station, East Lansing, Las Vegas and Winston-Salem.

After a successful three year run at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, the NCAA Women's Golf Championship shifts to Carlsbad, California and the beautiful Omni La Costa Resort and Spa. The championships will be held from May 17-22.

Following a successful 2022-23 campaign that included the first appearance in the NCAA Championships since 2017, the Red Raiders return four of the five players that started in both the Pullman Regional and the NCAA Championships.

Key returners like Gala Dumez, Shannon Tan and Lauren Zaretsky will combine with incoming freshmen Maja Ambroziak and Klara Hurtova to form yet another strong squad in 2023-24.
