Peyton Parsons named to TopDrawer Top-100

The junior checked in at No. 63 on the annual list
LUBBOCK, Texas – Midway through a career season, Texas Tech junior Peyton Parsons checked in at No. 63 on the Top-Drawer Soccer Top-100 players, the outlet announced Thursday.
A native of Denver, Parsons continues to shine in her third season as a Red Raider, as the forward has now scored seven goals and tallied two assists in 13 matches played.
Parsons, who leads the Red Raiders in both goals and points, recorded her first career hat trick back on Aug. 29 when she scored from the course of play, the spot and a free kick to help the Red Raiders to a 4-0 win over Weber State.
Following up on her success against Weber, Parsons scored twice more in the Red Raiders 5-0 win over ORU.
So far this season the Red Raiders are 4-0 when Parsons scores and 5-0 when she tallies either a goal or an assist.
Parsons and the Red Raiders return to action on Thursday night when they welcome Colorado to the John Walker Soccer Complex. First touch is set for 7 p.m.
