Red Raiders in the NFL | Regular Season Week 14, Dec. 5-9

LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech saw its number of Red Raiders in the NFL increase to 10 for week 14 as Kansas City activated rookie tight end Baylor Cupp for its practice squad. Cupp was signed by the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent after the 2024 NFL Draft and spent the first 13 weeks on the practice squad before being activated for his first career NFL game.Â

ARIZONA CARDINALSÂ vs. Seattle Seahawks (L, 30-18)
S Dadrion Taylor-Demerson (2019-23): Taylor-Demerson saw the field for a total of 33 snaps on Sunday with the majority of those on special teams. He was productive with his 12 defensive snaps, recording three tackles (one solo) in the home loss to division foe Seattle.
DL Broderick Washington Jr. (2016-19): Washington Jr. and the Ravens were one of six teams on a bye this past week. Week 15 will see them go on the road to face the 2-11 New York Giants.
OL Terence Steele (2016-19): Steele made his 13th-straight start of the season on Monday Night Football, paving the way for another Cowboy 100-yard rusher in consecutive games – Rico Dowdle (131).
DE Myles Cole (2022-23): Cole was listed to the Jaguars' inactive list prior to the game.Â
QB Patrick Mahomes II (2014-16): Mahomes and the Chiefs secured their ninth-straight AFC West division title thanks to kicker Matthew Wright who clanged in the game-winning field goal off the left upright from 31 yards. Mahomes has been a part of the last eight division titles, with seven as a starter following his rookie year in 2017.
DE Tyree Wilson (2020-22): Wilson registered his second start of the season on Sunday. He finished the game with two tackles (one solo) as the Raiders dropped to 2-11.
LB Jordyn Brooks (2016-19):Â Brooks and the Dolphins bounced back from their Thanksgiving loss and officially eliminated the Jets from playoff contention with a 32-26 win. Brooks led Miami with nine tackles (four solo) to go along with one sack (five-yard loss) and one tackle for loss, one quarterback hit and one pass deflection. Brooks has started every game for Miami this season and has recorded at least 110 tackles for a fourth-straight year.
LB Sam Eguavoen (2011-14):Â Eguavoen finished the day with one tackle as he logged 24 snaps on special teams.Â
DB Tyler Owens (2022-23): Owens and the Commanders were one of six teams on a bye this past week. Week 15 will see them go on the road to face the 5-8 New Orleans Saints.Â
