Tech announces spring schedule

LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech men's tennis team has released its 2025 dual season schedule as announced by head coach Michael Breler on Monday afternoon. Fans have the opportunity to see the Red Raiders play at home 11 times this season, with five of those coming against Big 12 opponents.

Tech will open its dual season with a doubleheader against Eastern Illinois on Jan. 18. The Red Raiders head out West to Santa Barbara, Calif., for matches against UC Santa Barbara and California on Jan. 24-25. Tech is back at home to host UTRGV and New Mexico State in another doubleheader on Jan. 31.

Texas Tech travels for three-consecutive away contests as the team competes at Wichita State in Kansas on Feb. 7, UTSA in San Antonio on Feb. 14 and at Rice in Houston on Feb. 16. The Red Raiders welcome both Nevada and Florida Golf Coast University to Lubbock on Feb. 22 and Feb. 23, respectively, before going back to California to compete in the annual Ed Collins Invitational in San Diego from March 7-9.

Tech begins conference play with Utah and BYU both at home on March 13 and March 15. Tech then hosts Abilene Christian a few days later on March 18. The Red Raiders will travel for the next three Big 12 matches as the team plays at Oklahoma State on March 22, at Arizona State on March 28 and at Arizona on March 30.

Tech begins April with a match against TCU in Lubbock on the 6th before going to Waco to take on Baylor on April 10. The last regular season match will be against UCF at home on April 13. The Big 12 Tournament will be held in Waco from April 17-21 then the NCAA Team Tournament will follow from May 2-18.
