Red Raider Basketball with Grant McCasland returns Thursday

LUBBOCK, Texas – "Red Raider Basketball with Grant McCasland" returns for its highly-anticipated second season on Thursday, January 2, going live from 6-7 p.m. at Rudy's Country Store and BBQ. The radio show's debut will follow the Red Raiders opening Big 12 play on Tuesday, December 31 against UCF at 1 p.m. at United Supermarkets Arena and before a two-game road trip where the team will play at Utah on January 4 and at BYU on January 7.
"Red Raider Basketball with Grant McCasland" is hosted weekly by Geoff Haxton on the Texas Tech Sports Network, and can be found via 17 stations across the state, locally in the Lubbock area each week on Double T 97.3 FM and on the Varsity Network app. The show will feature McCasland breaking down the season and upcoming games along with guest appearances from assistant coaches and players. Fans also have an opportunity to have their questions answered by submitting them in-person at Rudy's along with online at @GeoffHaxton or @GunsUpRadio on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Rudy's, which is located at 4930 South Loop 289, will be the home for Red Raider Basketball with Grant McCasland for the next five Thursday nights. Along with submitting questions, fans will have opportunities to interact with McCasland and have items signed.
