Tech ends Texas State Tournament with first loss of the weekend

SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas Tech ended its trip to the Texas State Tournament with an 1-8 loss to Texas State on Sunday evening.

The Red Raiders (7-3) went 4-1 on the weekend including a 10-9 win over Northern Colorado earlier.

Alanna Barraza recorded the lone run for Tech. She launched a solo home run in the second inning, her first of the season.

From there it was all Bobcats.

UP NEXT: The Red Raiders will in the North Texas Tournament beginning on Friday, Feb. 23 and running through Sunday.
