NiJaree Canady one of four pitchers to be namted Softball America Preseason First Team All-American
LUBBOCK, Texas – Softball America announced its 2025 Preseason All-Americans on Tuesday morning following the release of its top 100 players list on Monday. NiJaree Canady was named a Preseason First Team All-American.
Canady was ranked the No. 1 player in the country by Softball America and continues to build her resume heading into her junior campaign. Canady is one of eight pitchers to be named a Preseason All-American and one of four pitchers to named to the first team.
Canady is also the first Red Raider to be named a First Team All-American either preseason or regular season.
The anticipation for Gerry Glasco's first year with the Red Raiders continues to build as the season inches closer to beginning.
