Team/Event Notes:

The Big 12 is set to host the Red Raiders and 15 other member schools for the 2025 Big 12 Men's Golf Championship.
The event will serve as the 28th edition of the Big 12 Men's Golf Championship; Texas Tech's best finish at the event is second place, claimed in back-to-back seasons in 2014 and 2015.
Texas Tech has had an individual win at the Big 12 Championship three times; Ludvig Aberg won it back-to-back years over the 2022-23 seasons after the first winner of the individual title, Chris Ward, in 2010.
The championship returns to Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Okla., for the first time since 2018. It will be the fifth time in league history the championship has been held at Southern Hills Country Club (2003, 2006, 2016, 2018, 2025).
The Big 12 Championship is set up differently than most regular-season tournaments, as it plays as a 72-hole tournament, similar to most PGA events. The 72-hole event is scheduled for 36 holes on Tuesday, while Wednesday and Thursday will be played each as 18-hole days.
The Red Raiders enter the event ranked as the No. 6 seed among the 16 teams, as slotted by national rankings.
There are four teams in the field ranked inside the Top 25, starting with No. 4 Oklahoma State, followed by No. 5 Arizona State, No. 14 Utah and No. 22 Arizona. BYU is just outside the Top 25, checking in at No. 28, while Texas Tech is next at No. 33.
The Big 12 Championship will be the Red Raiders' 12th event of the season and eighth of the spring season. Tech's best team finish this season was placing second (839, -13) at The Prestige in La Quinta, Calif., Feb. 17-19.
Texas Tech rose as high as No. 19 in the Feb. 26 national rankings. The Red Raiders have been in and just outside of the Top 25 for most of the spring season.

Per the most recent PGA Tour University rankings released on April 16, Calum Scott checked in at No. 15 and Charlie DeLong at No. 33.
While the PGA Tour U rankings are reserved for upperclassmen nearing exhausting eligibility, the national rankings for all collegiate individuals have freshman Connor Graham leading the Red Raiders at No. 65 in all of college golf.
