Volleyball releases full schedule for 2026 season

Tech to host 13 matches along with two preseason scrimmages
LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech volleyball program announced its full schedule for the upcoming 2026 season on Friday afternoon. Tech will host 13 matches along with two preseason scrimmages in the United Supermarkets Arena.
The Red Raiders will face several teams for the first time in program history this season including Wyoming (8/28), St. Thomas (8/29), Saint Mary's (9/3), Michigan (9/18) and Cornell (9/19). Of the non-conference opponents Tech will face this season, UTRGV (9/10) is the only is the only opponent they've faced more than four times.
After their scrimmages against ACU (8/14) and UTEP (8/22) along with the Red and Black Scrimmage (8/21), the Red Raiders will face Wyoming and St. Thomas in Laramie, Wyoming. Tech will then head to the west coast to face Saint Mary's, Sacramento State (9/4) and Nevada (9/5) in Sacramento.
The annual Red Raider Classic will be played the next weekend opening up with UTRGV (9/10) in the morning and Prairie View A&M (9/10) as the night cap. Tech will close its home tournament against Portland State (9/11) and stay home to face Tarleton State (9/15) in a mid-week match before finishing up its non-conference slate in Michigan.
The Wolverines will host Texas Tech as they take on Eastern Michigan (9/17), Michigan and Cornell before a three-match Big 12 home stand.
