Notes: Played in 27 games, making 24 starts for the Lady Raiders... took over as the primary point guard, midseason… Averaged 25.4 minutes, 3.1 points, 2.8 rebounds and shot 26.7 percent from the field… tallied 20 steals and 12 blocks on the season… racked up the second most assists on the team with 77 assists.
Highlights: Recorded a career high nine rebounds against UT-Rio Grande Valley (12/17)… Had a career night at TCU (1/7)… tied her career-best 10 points and tallied new career highs in assists (7) and steals (3).Â
FRESHMAN (2016-17)
Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team
Notes: Played in all 31 games, making one start for the Lady Raiders... Averaged 10.7 minutes, 2.2 points, 1.3 rebounds and shot 48.1 percent from the field... Totaled 17 steals and three blocks in her rookie season... known as the "energizer bunny" of the team.

Scored first two points and recorded two steals as a Lady Raider... tallied a career-high four rebounds vs. New Mexico (11/20)... played a season-high 21 minutes vs. Prairie View (11/29)... earned her first collegiate start and scored a career-high 10 points vs. Houston (12/7)... tied career-high 10 points v. Alcorn St. (12/18)... Also had a career-high rebounds in a career-best 26 minutes played... HIGH SCHOOL
Fossil Ridge High School, in Fort Worth, Texas ... Bright, ranked as the No. 73 guard nationally in the 2016 class, averaged 15.8 points as a junior to go along with 5.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 3.5 steals and 2.4 blocks per game ... She was named District Offensive MVP, an All-Region performer by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches, and a second team member on the Fort Worth Star-Telegram Super Team, after leading the Panthers to the postseason for the second-straight year ... Bright started her high school career with a bang, being named the 2012-13 Newcomer of the Year in District 4-5A, where she was also a first-team selection as a freshman ... She returned to the All-District team in her sophomore year, and was also named a second team All-State performer ... Was also an All-District honorable mention in volleyball.
