Brandon Lee
- Title:
- Associate Strength & Conditioning Coach
Brandon Lee enters his fourth season as an associate strength and conditioning coach on the Texas Tech football staff where he works specifically with the Red Raider offensive and defensive linemen.
This marks Lee's second stint with the athletics department as he previously worked with the Red Raider basketball program during its Final Four run in 2018-19. Lee was an assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Red Raiders that season as Texas Tech claimed its first ever Big 12 Conference regular-season title and ultimately played Virginia for a shot at the national title. It was the first appearance at the Men’s Final Four in school history.
Lee departed Texas Tech following that season to join East Carolina where he was an assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Pirates’ football and softball programs. Lee rejoined former Texas Tech assistant men's basketball coach Brian Burg at Georgia Southern soon after as he was named the head strength coach for Burg’s first season as head coach in 2020-21.
Prior to joining the Red Raiders, Lee was the head strength coach at North Carolina Central from 2016-18 where he oversaw the strength and conditioning for all 14 Division-I programs.
A native of New Albany, Indiana, Lee played college football at Thomas More University where he was an All-President Athletic Conference offensive lineman as a senior and an honorable mention All-Conference selection as a junior. He was selected as one of the top-50 players in Division-III during his senior season and later played in the Division-III All-Star Game.
Lee earned his master’s degree in athletic sports administration from North Carolina Central in 2017 and his bachelor’s from Thomas More University in 2008. He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the NSCA.
