2019 SEASON (REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE)
Saw action in three games, normally on special teams as a juniorโฆ three appearances came against Montana State (8/31), UTEP (9/7) and at West Virginia (11/9), all wins โฆ announced following the season his intention to enter the NCAA transfer portal as a graduate transfer.
Redshirt season โฆ appeared in four games throughout the season, mainly as a fullback or blocking tight end โฆ made his first appearance of the year against Ole Miss (9/1) โฆ returned to the field later in the season against Iowa State (10/27), Oklahoma (11/3) and Texas (11/10).
2017 SEASON (FRESHMAN)
Appeared in six games as a true freshman โฆ began the season in a reserve role on the defensive line before becoming Texas Techโs primary fullback midway through the year โฆ made his debut at fullback against Iowa State (10/21) โฆ saw action in each of the final five games of the regular season as well as the Birmingham Bowl against USF (12/23) โฆ caught a pair of passes for 14 yards against the Bulls โฆ longest catch of the day came on a 13-yarder in the third quarter that moved the Red Raiders to the USF 4-yard line โฆ Tech scored on a touchdown run by Tre King on the following play โฆ one of four true freshmen to see action.
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Canadian High School in Canadian, Texas โฆ played for a highly successful program at Canadian โฆ helped lead Canadian to the Class 3A Division II state semifinals as a senior โฆ played his freshman season at Canadian before moving to Amarillo Tascosa as a sophomore and Amarillo High as a junior โฆ unanimous first team All-District 1-3A selection on the offensive line as a senior โฆ took part in Texas Techโs Lubbock high school camp in summer of 2016, winning offensive line/defensive line MVP honors โฆ CHOSE TEXAS TECH OVER: Interest from Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Texas.
