Blomme's scoring average of 73.19 ranked fourth on the team, but he was the Red Raiders' most steady performer throughout their incredible postseason run ... Was Tech's top finisher at the Big 12 Championships, tying for 18th (+10), and just missing out on All-Big 12 Tournament Team honors ... Two weeks later, he tied for seventh at the NCAA Columbus Regional (-1) helping to keep the Red Raiders inside the cutline with a couple clutch late birdies ... Blomme tied for 21st (+2) at the NCAA Championships, making huge birdies on Nos. 14 and 18 on the final day to help Tech advance to match play ... In the NCAA Quarterfinals against Alabama, Blomme overcame a late one-hole deficit and made an incredible par save on the final hole of the day to win his match, 1-Up.

The top-ranked junior college player in the nation for fall 2016, with a scoring average of 68.83 … took ninth at the 2015 British Amateur Championships and 30th at the World Amateur Team Championship … shot 19-under par to pick up a five-stroke win at the High Country Shootout, in Ruidoso, N.M. … placed 62nd at the 2016 European Amateur Team Championships.
