- 2017 Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team
Made six appearances in the circle for the Red Raiders … tossed a total of 6.1 innings, finishing with six strikeouts and a 16.58 ERA … her first outing was her best outing of the season, throwing three scoreless frames against Houston (Feb. 9), striking out three and giving up just two hits … threw 0.2 innings at No. 6 Texas A&M, striking out one and walking one.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2017)
Appeared in 18 games for the Red Raiders, making six starts in the circle … led the staff in strikeouts per 7 innings at 3.74 … totaled 14 punch outs in 26.2 innings of work … went the distance in her first collegiate start, posting a complete game shutout against TAMUCC (Feb. 10) to give Tech its first win of the season … gave up just four hits and struck out four against the Islanders … made her first Big 12 appearance at Iowa State (Mar. 24) … contributed two starts for the Red Raiders in Puerto Vallarta against Florida Gulf Coast (Feb. 16) and Cal State Fullerton (Feb. 18) … picked up a start and went 3.1 innings without giving up an earned run against Gardner-Webb (Feb. 24) … named to the 2017 Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team.
CYPRESS RANCH HIGH SCHOOL
A highly touted pitcher out of Cypress, Texas … named District MVP for District 17-6A following her junior season … a three-time First Team All-District 17-6A honoree (2014-16) … racked up 39 wins through four years in the circle for the Mustangs … maintained a 1.53 ERA in three seasons on varsity … struck out 519 batters through 328.2 innings pitched … opponents hit just .171 off her … finished her senior year with 13 wins in 100 innings pitched ... amassed 15 wins in her junior season in 20 appearances with a 1.63 ERA while leading the team to a 17-0 district finish and three playoff wins … Named to the Preseason Greater Houston Area Team entering her senior season ...
