REDSHIRT JUNIOR SEASON (2020)
Started all 26 games with 16 starts in left field and 10 starts in right field … led the team with 24 runs scored, 10 stolen bases and 85 at-bats … ranked second on the team with 26 hits … sat third on the squad with 30 total bases and a .306 batting average … went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs scored and two stolen bases in Tech’s season-opening win over Houston Baptist (2/7) … recorded a double and a triple and scored twice against Jackson State (2/7) … tallied one run and one steal against Louisiana Tech (2/8) and No. 15 Georgia (2/15) … collected two hits and one RBI in Tech’s 10-inning victory over Montana (2/9) … produced one hit in Tech’s 5-1 win over No. 18 South Carolina (2/13) … went 2-for-3 with one double against USF (2/15) … powered two hits, scored once, and collected one sacrifice bunt, as well as one stolen base, against No. 1 Washington (2/16) … drew two walks and punched one hit in Tech’s home-opening win over Kent State (2/18) … tallied one hit and one run against Syracuse (2/21), No. 4 LSU (2/27), Grand Canyon (2/29), Marist (3/7), Fairleigh Dickinson (3/7) and Delaware State (3/8) … collected two hits and scored once in Tech’s second meeting with Syracuse (2/23) … powered two hits, and scored twice against BYU (2/28) … went 2-for-3 with one RBI and three runs scored in Tech’s first meeting against Fairleigh Dickinson (3/6) … recorded RBI in three consecutive games from Feb. 29-Mar. 6 … drew one walk and scored once at Hawaii (3/11) … finished the season with 25 putouts … on March 13, the remainder of the 2020 season was canceled due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE SEASON (2019)
All-Big 12 Second-Team selection … started all 58 games in left field … led the team with a 22-for-26 effort on the base paths and 197 at-bats … ranked second on the team with 70 hits and 42 runs scored … finished the season third on the team with three triples and a .355 batting average … ranked fourth overall with four sacrifice bunts, as well as fifth with 65 putouts and 79 total bases … finished the regular season ranked first in the Big 12 Conference in stolen bases (19), tied fourth in triples (3), fifth in hits (63) and 10th in the Big 12 Conference with a .364 batting average … finished the year second on the team with 21 multi-hit games, including eight games where she collected three hits … posted three two-RBI games … produced two six-game hitting streaks this season, one from Feb. 15-23 and the other from Mar. 10-17 … tallied three hits against Nebraska (Feb. 8), UAB (Feb. 15), Drake (Feb. 17), No. 17 Oregon (Feb. 23), Maine (Mar. 17), Baylor (Apr. 13), Kansas (Apr. 18) and No. 10 LSU (May 18) … scored a career-high four runs against Nebraska on Feb. 8 … collected a career-high three stolen bases against North Teas on Mar. 1 … stole two stolen bases against Lamar (Feb. 10), UAB (Feb. 15), Maine (Mar. 17) and Kansas (May 10) … went two-for three with a double, two walks and two runs against Gardner-Webb on Mar. 8 … posted a perfect 2-for-2 effort at the plate with two RBI against Murray State (Mar. 15) … went 3-for-3 with three runs, two steals and one RBI against Maine (Mar. 17) … posted two hits against Oklahoma on Mar. 23 … tallied three hits and scored twice to help Tech clinch its series at Baylor (Apr. 13) … collected two hits, two RBI and one triple against Kansas on Apr. 19 … recorded two hits in three straight games against Oklahoma State and New Mexico State … helped Tech to a series-opening win over No. 21 Kentucky with two hits on May 4 … went 3-for-5 against No. 10 LSU in Tech’s first NCAA Regional appearance since 2012 … lifted Tech to a 5-4 win over No. 10 LSU with two hits, one double and two runs scored against the Tigers.

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON (2018)
NFCA All-Region Third Team and Big 12 All-Freshman Team in her first season as a Red Raider … played in 57 games and made 52 starts, most coming as the designated player … slap hitter that batted at the top of the lineup and led the team with 74 hits on the year, which was tied for the third most by a Red Raider in a season … second on the team and ninth in the Big 12 with a .379 average on the year, the sixth-highest batting average for a Red Raider in a season … along with teammate Karli Hamilton, set the single-season school record for triples in a season with five … tallied a 16-game hitting streak from Feb. 18 through March 11 … started the streak with a three-hit game against Hofstra (Feb. 18) … added two more three-hit games during that stretch and closed the year with nine … tied for the team lead with 22 multi-hit games, including a season high four hits against Iowa State (Apr. 21) … her 21 hits during Big 12 play were tied for eighth in the league … hit her first career home run against Purdue (Mar. 17) at UC Riverside … finished the year with 15 extra base hits and 36 runs scored to go with 12 RBI … used her speed to go 9-for-12 on stolen bases … tallied an on-base percentage of .497 to rank second on the team … … scored the winning run against No. 25 Oklahoma State (Mar. 30) in the bottom of the eighth on a single from Kiana Workman scored the go-ahead run against Bowling Green in the bottom of the sixth (Mar. 3) … drove in the game-winning run with a sac fly in the bottom of the seventh against Northwestern State (Feb. 23) … NISC All-Region Team (Conway Regional) after going 6-for-13 with a double, an RBI and four runs scored in four games.

CEDAR RIDGE HIGH SCHOOL
Was a two-sport athlete, competing in softball and volleyball … spent freshman season at Fort Bend Bush High School, sophomore season at Hutto High School and final two seasons at Cedar Ridge High School in Round Rock, Texas … played in center field throughout high school career … named Offensive Player of the Year for District 13-6A in senior season after hitting .462 with a .635 slugging percentage and .517 on base percentage … also named to the Premier Girl’s Fastpitch (PGF) Southwest Regional All-American Team … posted a .532 average and 12 stolen bases and was named District 17-5A Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore at Hutto HS in 2014 … as a freshman in 2013, hit .624 and collected 24 stolen bases at Fort Bend Bush HS … was a first team all-district choice in 2013 and 2014 and second team honoree in 2015 … helped lead Cedar Ridge to a district championship both seasons at the school (2015, 2016) … played travel ball for Diamond Sports Hotshots (junior-senior) and Impact Gold Sessum (freshman-sophomore) … on the volleyball court, competed at outside hitter, middle blocker and defensive specialist … left Cedar Ridge as one of the Top 5 blockers in school history.

Born Dec. 9, 1997 in Missouri City, Texas … daughter of Charles and Nicole Burton … has one younger brother, Caleb (13) … her father presently the head coach at Del Valle (Texas) High School ... mother a high school history teacher … lived in Germany, Scotland, Austria and Luxembourg during father’s NFL Europe football career … father played college football at Syracuse and was a linebacker … has been clocked running from home plate to first base in 2.5 seconds … switched to the left side of the plate and became a slapper at the age of 14 … majoring in public relations.
