SOPHOMORE (FALL 2015)
Ripped through the fall with a team-high 10 singles victories and a 10-2 ledger ... checked in No. 81 in the fall's Oracle/ITA rankings ... finished with a 6-3 doubles mark while playing primarily with Tommy Mylnikov ... won first six matches of the fall in singles, going 4-0 at the Texas A&M Invitational and advancing to the third round of the Saint Francis ITA All-American Championship qualifying singles ... did not lose a match until suffering a 6-1, 2-6, 6-3 setback to San Diego's Jordan Angus at the All-American Championship ... rebounded after first loss with a 4-1 showing in the main draw of the ITA Texas Regionals ... reached the semifinals of the regional after upsetting No. 35 Shane Vinsant of Texas A&M, 7-6 (5), 6-4, in the quarterfinals ... defeated Texas A&M's James Martell (6-2, 6-0), Rice's David Warren (3-6, 6-3, 7-6 [1]) and Texas' Harrison Scott (6-3, 3-6, 6-2) in the first three rounds of the event ... paired with Jolan Cailleau for one match and suffered a setback at the Texas A&M Invitational ... won both matches with Sendegeya at the Texas A&M Invitational, including a 8-7 (7) upset of No. 27 Oscar Janglin and Vinsant of Texas A&M ... went 1-1 with Sendegeya at the Saint Francis ITA All-America Championship ... put together a strong run at the ITA Texas Regionals with Sendegeya, going 3-1 and reaching the semifinals ... topped teams from Lamar, Texas A&M and UTSA to reach the semifinals, where the pair fell 6-0, 6-2 to Texas A&M's Vinsant and Arthur Rinderknech.

PRIOR TO TEXAS TECH
Sendegeya comes to Texas Tech after earning the No. 1 juniors rating from Great Britain's Lawn Tennis Association ... was ranked as high as the No. 74 junior in the world ... he is the highest-ranked incoming freshmen since Raony Carvalho came to Texas Tech from Brazil as the No. 10 junior in the world and the No. 1 player in Brazil ... spent more than five years in Bradenton, Fla., at the IMG Academy in the Bollettieri Tennis program. IMG's alumni include Andre Agassi, Jim Courier, Boris Becker, Maria Sharapova, Venus and Serena Williams and Monica Seles. He is a 2014 graduate of Keystone National High School, while working out at the IMG Academy ... won nine ITF Juniors doubles titles, including two in 12 months ... Sendegeya was named the player to watch by the London Times and has participated in the Wimbledon Juniors, U.S. Open Juniors and the Canadian Open Juniors ... has worked with renowned coaches Jose Lambert of the IMG Academy and private coach Martin Damm. Lambert's career parallels Siegel's, as both are New Orleans natives who were nationally-ranked juniors that would later attend Arkansas, before a stint on the ATP Tour and settling into coaching. Damn is a former world Top 50 singles player and a Top 5 doubles player, who retired in 2011 from the ATP Tour ... selected the Red Raiders over interest from San Diego, Boise, Wisconsin and Notre Dame.
