Competed in five meets during the outdoor slate ... opened at the TCU Invitational in the 3000 meters, placing fourth behind a personal-best 8:49.25 ... followed it up with a first-place mark at the Texas Tech Open in the 5000m at 15:22.47 (PR) ... finished second in the 1500m at the Wes Kittley Invitational at 4:12.58 ... was named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team.
2016 INDOOR
Ran once during the indoor season at the New Mexico Team Invitational, placing 18th in the 3000 meters at 9:23.23.
2015 CROSS COUNTRY
Named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team ... competed in six meets for the Red Raiders in 2015 ... opened the season with a time of 23:02.50 in the four-mile at the Texas Tech Open ... his top time in the 8K came at the Bronco Invitational behind a time of 25:43.8 on Oct. 17 ... represented Texas Tech at the NCAA Mountain Regional, clocking in at 33:34.59 in the 10K.
2015 OUTDOOR
Earned first team Academic All-Big 12 honors ... finished top 10 in all five meets he competed in during the outdoor season ... picked up a first-place finish at the Texas Tech Open at 15:47.86 in the 5000 meters, which was a personal-best ... also recorded a fifth-place finish at the West Texas A&M Twilight in the 1500-meter run at 4:19.18.
2015 INDOOR
Ran in three meets for Texas Tech during the indoor slate ... finished fourth at the Texas Tech Open in the mile at 4:30.29 ... set a personal-best in the 3000 meters at the Red Raider Open, clocking in at 9:02.83.
2014 OUTDOOR
Competed five times for the Red Raiders, logging three top-10 performances ... Took third in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the Texas Tech Open (10:08.76), and took fifth in the same event at the UTSA Invitational (10:06.15) ... Ran the 3,000 meters in 9:09.87 at the West Texas A&M Classic, good enough for ninth place.
2014 INDOOR
Suited up for four meets for the Red Raiders, with his best performance of the season from a placing perspective being a 4:34.39 mile at the Texas A&M Triangular that earned him 11th place.
2013 OUTDOOR
Competed in the 800-meter run, 1,500-meter run and the 3,000-meter run...clocked a season-best of 2:01.09 in the 800-meter run finishing 20th at the Red Raider Open (4/25)...recorded a season-best of 4:08.94 in the 1,500-meter run finishing 15th at the Texas Invitational (4/13)...also recorded a season-best of 9:30.95 in the 3,000-meter run at the Texas Invitational finishing 16th.
2013 INDOOR
Competed in the mile, 800-meters and the 3,000-meter run...clocked a season-best of 4:26.96 in the mile run finishing 16th at the Texas A&M Challenge (1/26)...recorded a season-best of 1:57.95 in the 800-meter run finishing 16th at the Masked Rider Open (1/19)....recorded a season-best of 9:13.29 in the 3,000-meter run finishing 19th at the Red Raider Open (2/2).
ARTESIA HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered four years and competed in five events under head coach Marcoh Morillo... competed in the 1600M and recorded a time of 4:28 at the state meet...recorded a time of 1:57 in the 800M at the state meet...competed and lettered four years in cross country...named All-District in 2008, 2009 and 2010.
