JUNIOR SEASON (2018)
Started all 30 matches for the Red Raiders as a six-rotation outside hitter … selected to the All-Big 12 Second Team … led the team and ranked eighth in the Big 12 in kills per set with 3.19 … led the team and ranked second in the league with 33 service aces … also ranked among the league leaders in points with 3.70 per set … led Tech with 12 double-doubles on the year, including nine during Big 12 play … led the Red Raiders in kills a team-best 16 times … also led the Red Raiders in digs five times, which ranked second on the team … showed improved efficiency from 2017, hitting .202 for the season … finished with 351 kills on the year, including 191 during Big 12 play … second on the team with 288 digs, including 158 during conference play … added 43 total blocks, including four solo, to rank fourth on the team … recorded 407.5 points on the year to lead the team … tallied a season-high 18 kills in Tech’s five-set win over Iowa State (Sep. 28), posting a double-double with 13 digs … had a season-high six blocks twice, once at UC Irvine (Sep. 1) and again against Oklahoma (Nov. 7) … set new career marks with five service aces against North Dakota (Aug. 24) and 20 digs against Rice (Aug. 25) … posted a season high hitting percentage of .529 against Sacred Heart (Sept. 8) … recorded double-digit kills in 24 of 30 matches, including 15 of 16 during Big 12 play ... named to the Thunderdome Classic All-Tournament Team after posting 35 kills to nine errors for a .342 hitting percentage along with 26 digs, four blocks and three aces … named UTRGV Tournament MVP after posting 37 kills to 11 errors for a .248 hitting percentage, finishing all three matches with double-doubles and totals of 45 digs, six aces and three blocks … received a nod to the 2018 Academic All-Big 12 First Team.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2017)
Started all 34 matches in her first year at Texas Tech … fifth among all Big 12 underclassmen in kills per set during Big 12 play at 3.19, which was also Top 10 in the league overall … ranked eighth in the Big 12 in kills per set for the year at 3.33 and tenth in points per set at 3.80 ... her kill total of 416 was fourth in the Big 12, while her point total of 474.5 ranked fourth in the Big 12 … led the Red Raiders in kills with 416, coming up 11 kills shy of a Top 10 mark in single-season school history … led the team with 25 double-digit kill matches, including 12 in Big 12 play … led the team with 14 double-doubles, including eight in Big 12 play … led the team in kills a team-best 15 times … tallied 15 or more kills nine times … tied for the second highest kill total in a Big 12 match in 2017 with a career-high 26 in Tech’s win over West Virginia … the first Red Raider since 2014 with 20-plus kills and 10-plus digs in a match, accomplishing the feat twice in 2017 … finished second on the team in aces and fourth in blocks … posted 11 matches with three blocks or more … came up two kills shy of 800 for her collegiate career … sits at 899.5 total points for her collegiate career … also just nine digs away from 500 for her career … averaged 4.00 kills per set in the postseason, which was tied for fifth in the conference.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2016 – Mississippi State)
Appeared in all 32 matches, making 24 starts in her inaugural year at Mississippi State … second among all SEC freshmen with 382 kills while averaging 3.03 kills per set … her kill total was the third-highest for a Bulldog freshman in program history … helped the Bulldogs finish with the fourth-highest kill total in school history at 1,649 … posted an impressive .228 hitting percentage, contributing to the team’s .314 clip which was its highest since 2006 … during SEC play, ranked in the top 10 in kills per set with 3.29 … her 227 kill total during SEC play was the second highest among all freshmen and sophomores … also top 15 in the SEC in points during league play with 3.66 per set … strong defensively with 57 total blocks on the year … second on the team in solo blocks with 11 … totaled 21 double-digit kill matches, including each of her first five SEC contests and 12 SEC battles overall … set a career high with 24 kills while scoring a double-double with 11 assists against Auburn (Sept. 30) … recorded six double-doubles on the season and seven total matches with double-digit digs … compiled 11 matches with three or more total blocks, including a career high 6.0 against Lamar (Aug. 27) … finished the year with consecutive 20-kill performances against Arkansas (Nov. 20) and Georgia (Nov. 26) … hit at a career-best .579 clip against UT Martin (Sept. 2), one of seven matches in which she hit .333 or better … recorded a season-high two service aces at Texas A&M (Nov. 11) and set a season high with 18 digs against South Carolina (Nov. 4) … named to the 2016-17 First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll … selected to attend the U.S. National Team Open Tryouts in Colorado Springs, Colo.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB
Finished high school as one of top 50 best players in the nation and the 12th-best in the state of Texas, according to MaxPreps.com … four-year letterwinner at John H. Guyer High School and left as one of the most decorated Wildcats in school history … culminated her time at Guyer High School by being named the 2016 Female Athlete of the Year … for her four years, she accumulated eight All-Tournament awards and three Guyer High School Team MVP accolades, while being named First Team All-District three times …was also named the District MVP twice and the District Offensive MVP once …in her senior season as team captain, she accumulated 464 kills (.375%), 56 blocks, 32 aces and 324 digs in 83 sets played … due to her success in her senior season, she was named to the LonestarVolleyball.com All-State Team, PrepVolleyball.com All-American Watch List and was ranked No. 52 on the PrepVolleyball.com National Senior Aces Top 100 …led the Dallas-Fort Worth area in kills (660) and was named the Denton Record Chronicle Area Player of the Year in 2014 …also earned TGCA All-State First Team and Dallas Morning News All-Area Team honors her junior season …named the 2013 Denton Record Chronicle Offensive Player of the Year … on the club level, was a member of the prestigious Texas Advantage Club … highlighting her time with TAV was a third-place finish at the 2016 AAU National Championships, becoming the first 18-year-old Texas team to medal in that divison … also earned third and fifth place finishes at Junior Nationals … a star-studded student in the classroom, finishing her time at Guyer High School with a 4.75 GPA and standing in the top five percent of her class … was named Academic All-District four times and Academic All-State her senior year … has also received the Denton I.S.D. Varsity Athlete Academic Award four times and is a member of the National Honor Society.

Born Emily Caroline Hill on Sept. 17, 1997, in Denton, Texas … daughter of Lewis and Julie Hill of Denton, Texas … has two sisters, Elizabeth and Meredith … majoring in kinesiology …when not on the court or in the classroom, she enjoys hanging out with friends, watching movies and exploring Denton and Lubbock.
