Becca Bornhorst joined the Lady Raider Basketball staff as a graduate assistant prior to the 2017-18 season.

Bornhorst comes to Lubbock after spending two seasons as an assistant coach for the Taylor University women's basketball program. She served as interim head coach last season after head coach Kelly Packard took a leave of absence.

Prior to joining the staff at Taylor, Bornhorst spent two years as a Public Relations and Marketing Associate. She also gained professional experience during her time as a student-athlete by interning with the Butler Sports Information Department and the Indiana Fever Media Relations Department.

Bornhorst is 2013 graduate of Butler University. She was a four-year letterwinner for the Bulldogs and served as team captain. Following her senior season, Bornhorst received the Bulldog Award for leadership and unselfishness while earning academic honors from Butler, the Atlantic 10 and the Horizon League.
