Earned Second Team All-Big 12 honors ... named to the Big 12 All-Freshman team ... started all 19 matches for the Red Raiders this season at the forward spot ... led the team in nearly every offensive category: goals (6), points (13), game-winning goals (5), shots (58) and shots on goal (28) ... two of her goals came in conference play against K-State (Sept. 22) and Oklahoma (Oct. 27), both game-winning tallies ... notched her first goal of the year against Appalachian State on Sept. 3 ... added two more in Tech’s 2-1 win over Arizona State on Sept. 8 ... scored on a header to tie the match in the 16th minute, then scored with two minutes left in the contest to propel the Red Raiders to a win ... was the only Red Raider to have a multi-goal game in 2017 ... posted a season-high seven shots against Kansas on Sept. 24.

Held the No. 1 ranking in the state of Texas and 12th in the nation by MaxPreps.com ... earned First Team All-America honors from TopDrawerSoccer.com, as well as Dallas Morning News Offensive Player of the Year after producing a school-record 49 goals her senior year ... goal total shattered the previous mark by 14, as she recorded at least one tally in 22 of 25 games, helping the Dragons to a 23-2 record ... notched eight hat tricks, while also serving up 12 assists in 2016 ... in both 2015 & 2016, Griffin was invited to the ECNL Nike National ID-2 Training Camp by U.S. Soccer, which featured the top female youth soccer players from across the country ... was honored as Texas 5-6A District MVP for her record-breaking season ... joined in her signing class by fellow Southlake Carroll player Brittany Martin.
