Joseph Kuhl is in his first season as a Texas Tech graduate assistant after working for two years as an assistant coach/video coordinator at the Air Force Academy.
An Austin, Texas native, Kuhl was a three-year letterman at McCallum High School before attending the University of Texas where he earned his bachelor’s degree in History in 2015. His coaching career began with the Austin Toros/Spurs where he was the Basketball Operations Quality Assurance Assistant from 2012-16 before working as an assistant coach with the organization in the 2016-17 season. The Austin Spurs were Western Conference Finalist in the 2015 and 2016 seasons. He also worked as an offensive clinician at the Snow Valley Basketball School in July 106. Kuhl was the assistant coach/video coordinator at Air Force from 2017-19.
