Bard Earns ABCA All America Honors

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech junior catcher Josh Bard earned his third First Team All America honor in 1999 as he was named to American Baseball Coaches Association First Team All America squad. A few days earlier Bard was selected to both the Baseball America First Team All America team and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association First Team All America squad, giving him a consensus All America honors for the second consecutive year.

The Texas Tech baseball program has now had a consensus All American on each of its last seven seasons.
