COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) - Keitha Dickerson had 18 points as No. 14 Texas Tech beat Texas A&M 71-49 Saturday for its fifth consecutive victory.

Texas Tech (16-2, 5-2 Big 12) led 36-17 at halftime after holding Texas A&M (9-9, 1-7) scoreless for nearly eight minutes. The loss was the Aggies' seventh in a row after opening conference play with a win.

Aleah Johnson had 13 points and Melinda Pharies had 13 assists for Texas Tech.

Kera Alexander and Jaynetta Saunders led Texas A&M with 12 points each.
