Tracksters Look to Run Wild This Weekend

LINCOLN, Neb. - The Texas Tech track and field teams will compete in the 2002 Big 12 indoor championships this weekend in Lincoln, Neb. With hopes of claiming a conference title.
With the NCAA track and field meet just two weeks away both the men's and the women's team will compete in the Big 12 indoor championships looking to earn claim to a title and qualify more athletes for the national meet.
The Red Raiders have a handful of athletes that are leading the Big 12 in their events.
For the women, Monique Wright-Cruse, Tiffany Green, Licretia Sibley and Shannon Spaulding are looking to earn the title of Big 12 champion while for the men Ivory McCann, Albert Booker, Jonathan Johnson and Julieon Raeburn all have realistic chances of taking top honors in Lincoln.
