Track Provisionally Qualifies Four at ISU Classic

AMES, Iowa - Only a handful of Tech tracksters traveled to the ISU Classic in hopes of qualifying for the NCAA national meet this weekend with Tiffany Green sprinting to two provisional qualifying times in the 60M-dash, 7.39 seconds and in the 200M, 24.27 seconds.
The women's 4x4 sprint relay team continued to run well as it turned in the fastest time of the weekend, 3:38.53 seconds, a NCAA provisional time while Shannon Spaulding ran the 800M in a time of 2:08.60 also a first place provisional qualifying time.
For the men freshman Jonathan Johnson provisionally qualified in the 800M with a fourth place time of 1:50.11.
Next up for Tech will be the Big 12 Indoor Championships in Lincoln, Neb. on Feb. 22-23.
