Tech Relay Teams Sweep Meet

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech turned in a clean sweep Thursday afternoon in six relay events at the Texas Tech Invitational at R.P. Fuller Stadium. Sprinter Julieon Raeburn also capped his day with an outstanding performance in the 400-meter dash.

Both men's and women's "A" relay teams claimed the top spots in the 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400 relays, while the Tech women's "B" team finished second in the 4x100. The two teams combined claimed 18 first-place finishes in the 38-event meet.

Raeburn qualified for the NCAA Outdoors in Baton Rouge later this spring with a time of 46.01 in the 400-meter run.
