
Tracksters Head to Texas Relays

Lubbock, Texas - Several members of the Texas Tech track and field teams will make the trip South to Austin, Texas, Wed. - Sat. April 2-5 to compete in the 76th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays at Mike A. Myers Stadium.
Although the meet officially begins on Wed., April 2, the Red Raiders will not hit the track until 2 p.m. on Thursday. Tech athletes are scheduled to compete in six events during the first day of competition concluding with the women's 5,000-meter run at 5:45 p.m.
The meet will come to a close on Saturday with the running of the C. Price 1,600-meter relay. The relay is scheduled to start at 4:15 p.m. The relay will feature teams from Auburn, Baylor, LSU, Minnesota, TCU, Texas and Tech.
A split squad of athletes will travel to Stephenville, Texas, to compete in the Tarleton Relays.

Tech will continue its road tour next weekend as both the men's and women's teams will travel to El Paso, Texas, to compete in the UTEP Invitational.
