AUSTIN, Texas - The Texas Tech track and field teams will have to wait one more day to compete as extreme rain caused officials to postpone the first day of competition at the NCAA National Championship in Austin, Texas.
The first field event scheduled was the women's pole vault qualifying round, which was delayed during opening height. In one and two attempts, respectively, sophomore Dana Rosenbladt and freshman Kelley Schulz cleared the opening height of 12'-3.50" .
At this time a revised schedule was not available but continue to check www.texassports.com for the latest NCAA Championship information.
