Texas Tech Takes Down Georgia State, 98-56

LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) - Jarrius Jackson led six players in double figures with 18 points as Texas Tech beat Georgia State 98-56 on Wednesday night.
The Raiders (6-3) led 42-24 at halftime and put the game away quickly with an 18-0 run to open the second half. Georgia State (3-7) never got closer than 32 points the rest of the way.
Darryl Dora started Tech's second-half run with a 3-pointer before Jackson added a runner in the lane. Ronald Ross scored inside and Jackson nailed a free throw before Curtis Marshall scored five straight points. His 3-pointer with 15:47 left gave Tech a 55-24 lead.
Joining Jackson in double figures for Tech were Martin Zeno with 13 points, Marshall and Drew Coffman with 12 apiece, Ross with 11 and Devonne Giles with 10.
Malcolm Manier led Georgia State with 24 points and Marcus Brown added 15 before fouling out.
The Panthers were held without a two-point basket for the first 14:39 of the second half. Georgia State hit five 3-pointers and four free throws during the span before Brown's shot in the lane at the 5:21 mark.
