Men's Tennis Team Remains Strong

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech men's tennis team defeated Texas Pan-American in San Antonio, 7-0. The Red Raiders will hit the courts again tomorrow and Sunday.
In doubles action, Bojan Szumanski and Michael Innerebner defeated Jeremy Salvo and Rehman Esmail, 8-6. Teddy DiBlasi and Adrian Prpic teamed up to defeat Nik Porter and Alejandro Pacheco Jr., 8-3. Ryan Vogl and Dimitrio Martinez beat Pierre Cantu and Alberto Gomez, 8-2.
In singles action the Red Raiders went undefeated. Szumanksi defeated Jeremy Salvo, 6-2, 6-4 and Esat Tanik defeated Porter, 6-1, 6-1. Innerebner came out on top against Esmail, 6-1, 6-2 and Prpic also came out on top against Cantu, 6-1, 6-0. Martinez beat Pacheco, 6-0, 6-2 and DiBlasi defeated Gomez, 6-0, 6-2.
The Red Raiders will be back in action tomorrow in San Antonio. They will face Texas A&M Corpus Christi at 1 p.m. tomorrow. Tech will compete against Louisiana-Lafayette at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
