Track Committs Two More for the Fall

Lubbock, Texas - Head coach Wes Kittley announced the signing of Nathan Lowry and Cale Smith for the 2005-2006 season. Kittley has signed a total of three student-athletes during the spring signing period.
Lowry, a native of Grapevine, Texas, is a standout hurdler at Grapevine high school. Lowry has posted personal-bests of 13.92 in the 110M hurdles and 39.88 in the 300M hurdles. Lowry is a district champion in the 110M hurdles and the district runner-up in the 300M hurdles.
In addition to his track and field commitment, Lowry is a member of the Spanish National Honor Society and is a National Merit Scholarship semi-finalist.
Smith, a native of Roscoe, Texas, is a multi-event standout at Roscoe high school. Smith's career marks include a toss of 53'-0" in the shot put, 165'-0" in the discus, 14.4 in the 110M hurdles and 40.0 in the 300M hurdles.
