Carson, Calif. - USA track and field championships have concluded for the Red Raiders today. The 2005 track and field season has also come to an end for the underclassmen.
Bryan Scott was the last Tech competitor to race today. Scott cocked a 50.75 in the semifinals of the 400M hurdles this afternoon. Scott fell short of qualifying for the finals of the event. Scott, a Lubbock native, ends his sophomore campaign with his second Big 12 title and the second- and third-best marks in school history.
Former Red Raider Jonathan Johnson, now running for Team Reebok, will continue the early stages of his professional career this summer. Johnson was a nine-time All-American, a four-time Big 12 Champion and a 16-time all-conference performer.
