Texas Tech Downs Oklahoma State In Overtime

LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) - Jarrius Jackson scored 26 points, including a clutch 3-pointer that sent the game to overtime, as Texas Tech beat Oklahoma State 92-90 on Saturday.
Tech never trailed in the overtime, with John Plefka getting six of Tech's 13 points.
In regulation, the Red Raiders were down 79-76 with 8.9 seconds remaining after OSU's Torre Johnson hit two free throws.
Jackson took the inbounds pass and went the length of the floor before hitting the 3 from the left side of the key to tie it at 79 with 2.4 seconds left.
Oklahoma State's Mario Boggan's shot at the buzzer was blocked by Darryl Dora to send the game to overtime.
Tech (11-9, 3-3 Big 12) had five players in double figures. Martin Zeno scored 20, Plefka had 15 and Dora added 12. Dior Lowhorn got 10 and led Tech with seven rebounds.
The Red Raiders trailed in the second half by as many as eight but used a 17-9 run to tie it at 55 with 10:47 remaining. Zeno got six points and Plefka added five free throws in the spurt.
Tech went up by seven after that but the Cowboys (12-8, 2-4) would not go away. They went up 77-74 on a shot by David Monds with 1:15 remaining in regulation.
There were three ties and four lead changes in the final 10 minutes of regulation.
Mario Boggan scored 22 points and had 10 rebounds for Oklahoma State. JamesOn Curry got 19, Johnson had 18 and Bryon Eaton contributed 14 for the Cowboys.
The Cowboys hit on 19-21 free throws, while Tech missed 13 of its 38 tries. In the first 11 minutes of the second half, however, Tech was flawless from the line, hitting eight straight.
In their first six possessions of the game, the Cowboys hit three 3-pointers, including back-to-back one by Byron Eaton, to overcome an early Tech lead and go ahead for most of the first half.
Oklahoma led by as many as seven before Tech stiffened and used a 9-2 to regain the lead at 32-31 with 1:20 remaining in the half. Oklahoma got two buckets to Tech's two free throws and the Cowboys led 35-34 at the break.
