
Men's Track Moves to No. 19 in the Polls

Lubbock, Texas - Texas Tech track and field is in the midst of preparing for the 2006 Big 12 Indoor Track and Field Championships, in Lincoln, Neb., Feb. 24-25. The men's squad is currently ranked No. 19 in the USTFCCCA poll.
In the Trackwire 25 rankings, Tori Polk is listed at No. 4 in the long jump and Misty Coley is seated at No. 10 in the high jump.
On the men's side, in the 800M, Zach Glavash is ranked No. 4 and Andrae Williams is seated at No. 12 in the 400M. In the 60M hurdles, Daryl Burgess and Marlon Odom are ranked ninth and 11th, respectively. Bobby Most is seated 11th in the pole vault and the men's 4x400M relay is currently ranked seventh.
On the National Performance List, Tori Polk is ranked No. 3 in the long jump and Misty Coley and Lacy Wilson are seated at No. 7 and No. 18 in the high jump, respectively.
On the men's side, Zach Glavash is 14th in the nation in the 800M, Kevin Chelimo is sixth in the 3000M and Daryl Burgess, Marlon Odom and Shawon Harris are 11th, 14th and 16th, respectively, in the 60M hurdles. The men's 4x400M, Michael Mathieu, Harris, Glavash and Williams, is ranked No. 6 in the nation with their time of 3:07.62.
