Fayetteville, Ark. - Texas Tech track and field has completed competition at the 2006 NCAA Indoor Championships. The Red Raiders earned seven All-American honors at the two-day event.
The men's 4x400M relay, Michael Mathieu (47.3), Albert Booker (47.3), Shawon Harris (47.1) and Andrae Williams (46.5), combined for a time of 3:08.30, good for a sixth-place finish and All-America honors.
Zach Glavash finished eighth in the 800M finals with a clocking of 1:48.86. This is the first All-American honor in a Tech uniform for Glavash.
In the men's 3000M, Kevin Chelimo finished ninth with a time of 8:11.58, just missing All-American status.
