Iowa State Last Chance

Lubbock, Texas - Select members of Texas Tech track and field competed at the Iowa State and Washington Last Chance meets on Saturday to post an NCAA qualifying marks or better their existing one.
In Ames, at the Iowa State Last Chance, Shawon Harris and Marlon Odom competed in the 60M hurdles. Harris posted times of 7.90 in the prelims, 7.84 in the semis and 7.87 in the finals. Odom posted times of 7.88 in the prelims, 7.85 in the semis and 7.87 in the finals. All six times posted by Harris and Odom are under the NCAA provisional qualifying mark. Harris' 7.84 is a season best and Odom's 7.85 is also a season best.
The men's 4x400M, Zach Glavash (47.0 split), Michael Mathieu (47.3 split), Albert Booker (47.0 split) and Andrae Williams (46.5 split), combined for a 3:07.29, a new seasonal best.
In the high jump, Lacy Wilson cleared 5'-7.25" and her season best mark of 5'-10" will be the mark considered by the NCAA declaration committee.
In Seattle, at the Washington Invitational, in the women's pole vault, Amanda Alley cleared 12'-0" and her season best of 12'-11.5" will be the mark considered by the NCAA declaration committee. Bobby Most cleared 17'-7.25", a seasonal best. Most's mark moves him to a tie for 11th in the nation.
Declaration lists will be released by the NCAA on Monday, March 6. Those selected will be traveling to Fayetteville, Ark. for the National Championships, March 10-11.
