Tech Men Win Sprint Medley Relay at Penn

Philadelphia, Penn. - In front of 39,943 fans, the Texas Tech men's sprint medley relay captured its second consecutive title on day two of the 111th Penn Relays, in Philadelphia, Penn., on Friday.
The relay (200M, 200M, 400M, 800M), stacked with four All-Americans, combined for a time of 3:16.72 with Albert Booker and Michael Mathieu running the 200M legs, Andrae Williams on the 400M and Zach Glavash anchoring with the 800M.
Bryan Scott finished third in the 400M hurdles Championships with a 50.64, a regional qualifying time and a season best. He was the top Big 12 finisher with his fourth regional qualifying time of the season.
The shuttle hurdle relay ran today for the second time this season. Daryl Burgess (13.7), Shawon Harris (13.6), Bryan Scott (14.9) and Marlon Odom (13.6) combined for a clocking of 56.27 and a second-place finish behind defending champion Tennessee.
In the 110M hurdles, Odom was the third finisher overall with a 13.86, Harris finished 21st overall with a 14.57 and Burgess did not finish the race. Odom, who clocked his seventh regional qualifying time of the season, will run in the finals of the event on Saturday.
The men's 4x400M relay, Albert Booker, Harris, Rodney Mims and Michael Mathieu, won their heat with a clocking of 3:07.81. The will run in the finals of the event on Saturday.
The women' sprint medley relay, Melissa Branch, Tia Barginear, Louise Cox and Althea Chambers, combined for a clocking of 3:50.80 and a sixth-place finish.
