Leigh Daniel Named to Big 12 Anniversary Team

Lubbock, Texas - Former Red Raider distance runner Leigh Daniel was named to the Big 12 Track and Field 10th Anniversary Team, it was announced by the conference, today.
The 10th Anniversary Team, as selected by the league's head coaches, are being chosen for each conference sport during the 2005-06 season in celebration of the Big 12's 10th Anniversary. In order to be eligible for consideration, candidates must have been a top finisher at the Indoor and/or Outdoor Big 12 Track & Field Championships.
Daniel, Tech's most decorated female track and field athlete, was a two-time NCAA National Champion, a seven-time All-American and a seven-time Big 12 Champion.
