Senior Pole Vaulter Earns Academic Honor

Lubbock, Texas - The 2006 CoSIDA Academic All-America Women's Track and Field/Cross Country District honoree were announced on Wednesday. Dana Rosenbladt, a senior pole vaulter, was named to the second team.
Rosenbladt, a mechanical engineering major, boasts a 4.0 GPA. A native of Mandeville, La., Rosenbladt ended her four-year career on a high note at the Midwest Regional Championships last weekend. The senior cleared a season-best 12'-6" and narrowly missed qualifying for the NCAA Championships.
Rosenbladt has a personal best of 13'-1.75", was a 2004 National Qualifier and is a four-time All-Big 12 performer. In the classroom, she is a three-time Academic All-Big 12 honoree.
