Kieschnick Named To The ABCA Midwest Region Second-Team

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech right fielder Roger Kieschnick was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association All-Midwest Region Second-Team today for his efforts during the 2007 baseball season.

Kieshnick, a sophomore from Rockwall, Texas, earned second team honors after posting five triples, 25 doubles, 13 home runs and a .302 batting average. His 25 doubles on the year gave him a tie with Brandon Toro (1997) for fourth place on the school's single-season doubles list. Kieschnick also earned All-Big 12 Second-Team honors from the league coaches.
